Position Summary: 

The Branch Manager (BM) is responsible for the general management of branch operations including revenue growth, budget and expense management. The Branch Manager also represents the company to consumers, caregivers, referral sources, and the community. The Branch Manager creates and maintains a person-centered business culture that delivers quality, continuous improvement, employee and caregiver engagement, and high performance.

What You Will Do:

 

  • Develops and executes plans to achieve or exceed branch financial goals. Prepares budgets; manages the profit and loss statement; forecasts revenue; identifies and evaluates trends, outcomes and options; analyzes variances; and initiates strategic and corrective plans of action in order to achieve targeted results.
  • Drives business development through marketing and promotional activities. Analyzes market conditions, competition, and prospective business opportunities. Establishes and maintains professional relationships. Serves as a branch and company representative to community, referral and other business resources. Establishes and implements a comprehensive plan to drive consistent brand messaging, recognition and differentiation. Executes consumer, community, and media-targeted campaign strategies. Engages all employees as brand representatives and encourages participation in networking activities and professional and community organizations.
  • Recruits, selects and retains highly qualified staff. Trains, develops, coaches, mentors and counsels employees. Assesses performance and regularly provides constructive, respectful feedback to foster development. Works with employees to establish and achieve individual development objectives. Recognizes and rewards team and individual accomplishments.
  • Effectively organizes and manages resources. Ensures goals and objectives are clearly understood and attainable. Maintains open, multi-directional channels of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversees clinical management of the branch. Collaborates with clinical and compliance partners to achieve quality objectives through analysis of key indicators; effective design and execution of corrective and strategic action plans; identification and elimination of obstacles; training and development; continuous process improvement; and change management.
  • Continuously improves professional, technical and leadership knowledge and skills in multiple ways such as attending educational workshops, reading trade publications, and participating in professional societies and networks. Keeps abreast of industry and community trends and changes.

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a health care or social services discipline.  A master’s degree or other post graduate coursework in health, social services or business administration is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of health care staff management including operational and profit and loss responsibility. Previous experience in a marketing, business development, or other customer-facing role.  Current industry knowledge of Ohio Waiver programs, specifically PASSPORT and MyCare, home health care or Shared Living (adult foster care services) and the services provided to caregivers and consumers through an interdisciplinary team. Valid driver's license required.
